Port Hole Cafe & Gift Shop
The Port Hole Cafe & Gift Shop was opened in May of 1997 to complement the main museum area. Since its opening it has become a favorite stopping place for both tourists and locals. The view from the Cafe changes as the tidal river flows in and out. This cozy maritime Cafe is a great place to have a refreshing drink or a light lunch made from the finest baking the Parrsboro Shore has to offer.
The Gift Shop is filled with items specific to the Age of Sail Heritage Centre, many crafted by local artisans. Items include art work, books and t-shirts amoung others.
Open daily during the summer, the cafe and gift shop is staffed by local volunteers and students knowledgeble about local history and other points of interest.
